I have been interested in space, particularly stars, since I was in preschool. My research journey began during my undergraduate studies. I was in the IceCube Neutrino Observatory research group at University of Maryland. I simulated the impact of improved reconstruction in point source analysis. After graduating, I had a summer internship virtually at NASA Goddard. This internship was in the heliophysics subfield studying periodic density structures near the poles of the Sun. Now, I am researching Rayleigh-Bénard convection within a star in a common envelope, with Dr. Jason Nordhaus as my advisor. Outside of work, I love to enjoy time with my friends, family, and most importantly, my cat Carrot and my dog Hazel.
