After attending the La Serena School for Data Science, I will be summarizing what is taught in that program, as well as sharing the experience of my trip. This will not be a workshop to teach the many concepts taught in the program, but rather an overview of what the program is, and what sorts of things I worked on there. The topics include supervised and unsupervised machine learning, as well as image processing, Gaussian Process Regression and neural networks. There will also be pictures from the telescopes I visited, including pictures of LSST which is under construction.
