Background

Zoe earned their Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics at Rutgers University, New Brunswick in 2024. They completed a senior honors thesis on hydrodynamic models of supernova remnants expanding into an asymmetric ambient medium density.

They are currently a first-year AST PhD student working with Dr. Richard O'Shaughnessy exploring how assumptions about supernova convection affect the binary black hole mass distribution through population synthesis.
