    Rochester Institute of Technology
  • BS in Physics and Astronomy with a Minor in Mathematics
    Youngstown State University

Background

Patricia is a masters student in the Astrophysical Sciences and Technology program at RIT working with Dr. Carlos Lousto and Dr. Richard O’Shaughnessy. Her current research is focused on parameter estimation of binary black hole systems that are likely eccentric gravitational wave sources. This work contributes to identifying binary black holes with eccentric orbits which builds up the catalog of known eccentric systems. Previously she earned her BS in Physics and Astronomy from Youngstown State university
