Description

We will analyze HI maps of nearby spiral galaxies to characterize the dark matter distribution in a sample of low redshift strong spiral lenses. This will allow us to compare and contrast and ultimately combine two independent methods of characterizing dark matter - namely, gravitational lensing and Tidal Analysis.
