Background
I have been a graduate student in RIT's astrophysics Ph.D. program since the fall of 2015. I joined the LIGO Scientific Collaboration at the beginning of my second year here, and work with Dr. Richard O'Shaughnessy to study the statistical properties of the objects that LIGO observes, and from that infer the underlying astrophysics. I obtained my M.Sc. degree while here at the end of 2017.
Here at RIT I also run a Scientific Computing Group, which meets weekly [link].
