18th Eastern Gravity Meeting and

Beyond the First Century of General Relativity
May 28-30th, 2015

  • Announcement: The 18th Eastern Gravity Meeting will be held at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY, hosted by the Center for Computational Relativity and Gravitation (See featuring video). Participation is encouraged by researchers *especially students* in all areas of gravitational physics, including classical, quantum, theory, observation, computation and experiment. Since this is a regional meeting, most participants are expected to be from the Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada, but all are welcome.
An extra day of conference will be dedicated to invited presentations on the future of Gravitational research: Beyond the First Century of General Relativity.

  • Location and Lodging Information:  The meeting will take place in the Innovation Center building (CSI 87-1600) on the RIT campus. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Radisson Hotel adjacent to campus. Participants should reserve their own rooms by 2015 May 1st and mention "RIT Eastern Gravity Meeting (2015EGM)" or use code Ritgrv online to receive the discount rate ($99-$109). More information can be found on our visitor information page at Visitor Info
  • Contact and Registration: In the tradition of past EGMs, no registration fee will be charged (and no financial support will be provided), but attendees are encouraged to register to enable a head count for the coffee breaks. Registration and inquires are open at Registration.
