David is a graduate student in the new Astrophysics PhD program, starting from fall 2009. David is an older student, returning to Astrophysics after thirty years as a computer hardware designer in Silicon Valley. David's current interest is  numerical relativity and the application of cheap off the shelf computing coprocessors, GPU's for instance, to astrophysical problems. GPU's applied to gravitational wave signal analysis is also an interest.
