Postdoctoral Researcher (CCRG - Physics)
Physics, Lebedev Physical institute in Moscow

Eugene Vasiliev is a post-doctoral researcher working in the field of galactic dynamics, in particular, the structure of galactic nuclei containing supermassive black holes, relaxation effects in galactic nuclei, black hole feeding rates, and the role of chaos in the evolution of orbits of stars in non-spherical galaxies. He received his M.Sc. degree in theoretical physics in 2003 from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and a PhD degree in 2007 at Lebedev Physical institute in Moscow, Russia, which has been his workplace since then.
